The 5-day program was developed on the basis of the Toronto Centre – CGAP: Regional Pilot Training Program on Digital Financial Inclusion Supervision (2016). Program participants discussed fundamental concepts and specific topics relating to the supervision of providers of digital financial services and related innovations. The specific topics included protection of customer assets, consumer protection, AML/ CTF, interoperability, agents and digitally delivered credit. The program was well attended by representatives of the Bangko Sentral Ng Pilipinas (the Central Bank of the Philippines).
