The 5-day program was developed on the basis of the Toronto Centre – CGAP: Regional Pilot Training Program on Digital Financial Inclusion Supervision (2016)`. Program participants discussed fundamental concepts and specific topics relating to the supervision by regulators of providers of digital financial services and related innovations. The specific topics included protection of customer assets, consumer protection, AML/ CTF, interoperability, agents, digitally delivered credit and data collection. The program was well attended by representatives of the Central Banks of Zambia, Botswana, Swaziland and the Seychelles.
